Care Instructions

How should I wash custom embroidered products?

Wash Instructions:

  • Turn garment inside out.
  • Wash in warm water using a mild detergent with no bleaching agents, peroxide, or optical brighteners.
  • Tumble dry on medium heat and hang promptly to avoid wrinkles.

For the longest life:

  • Avoid excessive wringing.
  • Do not leave items folded while damp, especially after the first wash.
  • When ironing, use a cloth on both sides and iron on the reverse side.

How should I wash custom printed products?

(Applies to Screen Print, Digital Print, and Heat-Transfer Film)

Wash Instructions:

  • Turn garment inside out.
  • Wash in cold water with a mild detergent that contains no bleaching agents, peroxide, or optical brighteners.
  • Tumble dry on low or use a cool dryer setting. Hang dry for best results.

For the longest life:

  • Do not use chlorine bleach.
  • Do not iron directly on the design.
  • Avoid washing with clothing that has metal snaps or fasteners, as they may damage the design.

My product has a discoloration over the design. What is it?

Our high-quality printing process may cause a slight sheen or temporary discoloration around the design. This will disappear after the first wash.

How should I wash moisture-wicking or performance products?

  • Do not use fabric softener, as it reduces the garment’s moisture-wicking properties.
  • Always check the care instructions on the garment tag for best results.

How should I wash pigment-dyed garments?

  • Turn the garment inside out.
  • Wash separately before wearing.
  • Machine wash warm with like colors.
  • Do not bleach or dry clean.
  • Always follow the care instructions on the product tag.

Artwork Guidelines

To ensure the best print quality, please follow these artwork submission guidelines. If you need assistance, our Art Help team is happy to evaluate your artwork! Give us a call at (469) 494-8870.

Accepted File Types

(Bolded formats are preferred)
AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, CDR, PNG, JPG, TIF, GIF, BMP

Vector Images (Preferred)

File Types: .ai, .svg, .eps, .pdf, .cdr

Vector images maintain high-quality resolution regardless of size. This makes them ideal for printing since they don’t become blurry or pixelated when resized.

Vector Artwork Tips:

  • Crop your document as close to the artwork as possible.
  • Convert all text and paths to "outlines" or "curves" before submission.
  • PDFs should be one-page documents.

Raster Images

File Types: .png, .tif, .gif, .jpg, .bmp

Raster images consist of pixels, meaning they cannot be enlarged without losing quality. Ensure your raster files are at least 300 DPI and match or exceed the intended print size.

Best practices for raster images:

  • Transparent formats (.png, .tif) provide the best results.
  • Avoid images taken from websites—they often have low resolution.
